Song Dahye, who rose to fame on "EXchange 3" and is a former member of BESTie, shared how it feels to take on her first-ever musical with "Hague".
At the "Hague" press call held the afternoon of April 8 at Daehangno Uniplex Hall 1 in Seoul, Song showcased steady vocals and acting, making a strong impression. She plays Hong Chaekyung in the production, officially taking her first step as a musical actor.
“It’s much harder than I imagined and I get really nervous, but there are moments of real euphoria in it,” she said. “Because the process is something we all build together, I’m enjoying every step.” She added, “I feel truly lucky to debut as Hong Chaekyung in 'Hague'. I’m on stage each day feeling like I’m learning and growing.”
"Hague" is based on the 1907 "Hague" emissary incident and portrays the Korean Empire’s diplomatic outcry and will for independence. The production is currently running at Daehangno Uniplex Hall 1.
