BTS, kicking off a massive world tour, shared their game plan and confidence.
The show opening in Goyang on the 9th will blend tracks from their new album “ARIRANG” with fan-favorite hits. One of the biggest highlights: an immersive 360-degree stage setup.
Leader RM said, “A 360-degree concert isn’t easy to prepare, but once it starts, it’s going to be a lot of fun. Above all, I can’t wait to pick up the mic again and meet ARMY around the world.” JIN added, “For a singer, concerts are the most important thing. Since it’s our first world tour in a while, I want to feel each region’s culture and energy firsthand.” SUGA agreed, saying, “Concerts are the most important stage for an artist. Every member is truly excited for this tour.”
J-HOPE shared, “World tours are always joyful. It’s a festival with ARMY across the globe, so we’re preparing with a happy heart.” JIMIN said, “This time, we’re showing a stage that’s completely different from before. It’s a big challenge, but please look forward to it.”
V noted, “I worried I might be out of practice, so I prepared several times harder. I want to show you everything we’ve worked on.” JUNGKOOK added, “I can’t wait to get on stage. I’m excited to meet audiences face-to-face.”
Another key feature of this tour is a production style closer to a “show.” RM said, “I hope the venue feels like one huge club.” JIN explained, “The stage rotates and so do we, so there will be a fresh kind of fun.” J-HOPE added, “The staging also weaves in Korean aesthetics, which will be an intriguing point.”
BTS will open “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’” at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on the 9th and 11-12. The tour starts in Goyang and expands to Tokyo, North America, Europe, South America, and Asia―85 shows across 35 cities. It marks the most shows for a single tour by a Korean artist, with additional dates planned in Japan and the Middle East, meaning the scale is set to grow even further.
