On the April 14 episode of SBS’s "Whenever Possible", MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok welcome “Teum Friends” guests Lee Kwang-soo and Park Bo-young as they bring their real-life bestie chemistry to the Guri area.
During filming, Park showed a refreshingly down-to-earth side that contrasts with her longtime “Ppovely, the Nation’s Little Sister” image. “I’m already 37,” she sighed. “I was excited to hit my 30s, but the 40s feel different.” Lee Kwang-soo, who’s already in his 40s, laughed at the youngest’s mini-meltdown before chiming in, “When I was about to turn 30, I told Jae-suk hyung, ‘I feel weird,’ and he said, ‘It feels even weirder in your 40s.’” The two shared a moment over the relentless march of time.
Park also revealed, “I recently started living with a friend. We’ve been best friends since high school.” She added, “I love delivery food, so I usually order in,” candidly showing her relatable, real-life homebody habits ― much to the surprise of the “oppa” hosts.
Elsewhere, Lee Kwang-soo and Park Bo-young unleashed sibling-like banter. The trigger? A jackstones game. As Park kept slipping up whenever the timer was on, Lee started offering constant tips. Park accepted at first, but mid-game she burst out, “Ugh! My hands are shaking!” flipping into fiery “Wook Bo-young” mode and cracking everyone up. When Lee wouldn’t let up―“Bo-young, listen when I’m talking!”―she leaned in close to his ear and whispered, “I heard you,” sending the set into laughter.
Catch Park Bo-young’s effortlessly chill charm on "Whenever Possible" on Tuesday, April 14, at 9 p.m.
