Premiering April 22 (Wed) at 9 p.m., Sold Out on You (written by Jin Seung-hee, directed by Ahn Jong-yeon) follows a perfectionist country farmer, Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo-seop), and a sellout-queen home shopping host, Dam Ye-jin (Chae Won-bin), whose unexpected entanglement sparks a romance. With a frosty countryside guy and a fiery city girl at the center, fans are watching to see how their opposites-attract story unfolds―straight from the stars themselves.
Speaking about Chae Won-bin, Ahn Hyo-seop shared, “She’s even more lovely and bright than I’d seen in her previous works, so I thought she fit Dam Ye-jin perfectly. Through that, Matthew Lee drew a lot of energy too, and I was really grateful to her as a partner. In acting, there are moments when you take turns yielding and finding your way together―our rhythm was excellent in those parts.”
Chae Won-bin said Ahn Hyo-seop has “the gaze of a pure-hearted boy,” adding, “There were little bursts of natural cuteness in every scene. His imagination is rich and he had lots of fun ideas, which helped me a lot. Filming was genuinely joyful.”

The duo also picked keywords for their couple chemistry. Ahn Hyo-seop brought up the nickname “Tyu-Dam Couple,” coined by Chae Won-bin. “It comes from Matthew Lee and Dam Ye-jin’s names and the playful ‘tyudak-tyudak’ vibe―like constant cute bickering. The sound is adorable, and I loved it,” he said.
In contrast, Chae Won-bin summed up each character’s charm as “Heodang” and “Dangdang.” “Matthew Lee is smart and steadfast, but that’s exactly why his offbeat moments in daily life are so cute―he’s a ‘heodang’ (lovably clumsy). Dam Ye-jin is someone who’s always confident and tries to stay that way no matter what―she’s ‘dangdang’ (confident and unapologetic). Both are overflowing with charm,” she teased, hinting at the pair’s intriguing dynamic.
