Jang Keunsuk Says He Coined His Own Nickname: “Asia Prince” ― On 'uh, but like, seriously!'
Uh, But Like... SeriouslyJang Keunsuk shared how his signature nickname came to be.

On the April 20 episode of SBS’ 'uh, but like, seriously!,' Jang Keunsuk and Choi Daniel appeared in the prison setting.

Jang revealed that he came up with his own moniker, “Asia Prince,” drawing attention.

Choi Daniel joked, “Then I’ll be Korea Prince,” cracking everyone up. Jang explained, “I wanted a nickname people would associate with me. ‘Hallyu star’ felt cliche. So I thought about what would fit, and I introduced it for the first time at a press conference.”

He added, “At first, everyone laughed. But after that, they started calling me that.” Hearing this, Lee Sang-min asked him to create a fitting nickname for Tak Jae-hoon, too.

Lee Sang-min recalled, “Back in the day, he was called the ‘Korean Takuya Kimura.’” Tak Jae-hoon responded, “I don’t know why people don’t call me that anymore,” showing his disappointment.

Listening in, Choi Daniel riffed on a story Tak had told and quipped, “How about ‘Korea’s Kim Gun-mo, Tak Jae-hoon?’” sending the room into laughter.
