Jang Keun-suk Reveals His Ideal Type: "Someone Who Keeps Waving Until I'm Out of Sight"
Uh, But Like... SeriouslyJang Keun-suk and Choi Daniel insisted they are not ajusshi.

On the April 20 episode of SBS’ "uh, but like, seriously!", Jang Keun-suk and Choi Daniel appeared in the show’s “jail” segment.

That day, Jang showed just how devoted he is to his fans. The members brought up what he told fans when he enlisted.

Jang said, “I really said it. I told my fans, ‘Don’t be scared. I’m just taking a short break. If you cheat on me, you’re dead.’”

Tak Jae-hoon asked, “Have you ever cheated?” Jang joked, “I may have smoked, but I don’t cheat.”

KAI, who cried before enlisting, shared a story about getting chased off by a security guard while saying his final goodbye to fans.

“I found out I was enlisting a week before. I was upset I had to suddenly stop activities, so I cried. I wanted to go live with fans right away, so I streamed from a nearby elementary school. The security guard told me I had to leave in 30 minutes. When he couldn’t find me, he came looking,” he said, laughing at the bittersweet memory.

The members couldn’t hold back their laughter at KAI’s enlistment story. But Jang added, “Others may laugh, but he was sincere with his fans. That’s really precious, I think.”

KAI then said Jang even wrote letters to fans who were leaving the fandom. Jang recalled, “I gave it an edgy final line: ‘It’s cold out there―hurry back. In the end, you’ll circle back to Jang Keun-suk anyway.’” The comment left Lee Su-ji stunned.

Jang also cracked everyone up by adding that, even so, he loves himself the most.

Later, Jang and Choi stressed they’re absolutely not ajusshi and drew a line from the “young forty” label.

“Recently, I was walking in Cheongdam and someone asked for my number. Proof I’m not an ajusshi,” Jang said confidently. Choi added, “I went to a convenience store to buy a vape, and they checked my ID,” insisting he’s not an ajusshi either, prompting laughs.

They also said it’s not that they couldn’t get married―they just haven’t―then shared their ideal types. “I like someone with a round face, a bit of cheekbone, and good posture,” said Choi. Jang countered, “My ideal type isn’t that superficial. I look at personality over looks.”

“My ideal type is a woman who keeps waving until she disappears in the side mirror,” Jang added, catching attention.

He continued, “I actually had someone like that. I mentioned it on TV in the past, and maybe she saw it―whether it rained or snowed, she’d keep waving,” he said, cracking everyone up.
