
SUPER JUNIOR member RyeoWook has shared a warm act of kindness in celebration of Children's Day.
The international development cooperation NGO Gfoundation (CEO Park Choong-kwan) announced on the 4th that RyeoWook donated 100 million won to support children from vulnerable backgrounds in Korea.
This donation was made with the intention of helping children in their formative years prepare for the future in a healthy environment for Children's Day. The donation will be divided into 50 million won each for support projects aimed at children at risk of food insecurity and children living in orphanages.
Through this donation, Gfoundation plans to provide food kits and meal support to children at risk of food insecurity to help ensure a stable diet, and provide integrated support linking education, medical care, and cultural experiences for children in orphanages. The organization aims to support the growth and emotional stability of these children according to their developmental stages.
Park Choong-kwan, CEO of Gfoundation, stated, "We are deeply grateful to RyeoWook for thinking about the present and future of these children and practicing meaningful sharing," adding, "We will use the donated funds transparently to create practical changes for the children who need help."
Meanwhile, RyeoWook has been gaining global popularity through both group and solo activities, and has been consistently involved in charitable activities, such as participating in regular volunteer work with family and acquaintances through SM Entertainment's social contribution brand, 'SMile'.
