"Give My Clothes Back" BLACKPINK JISOO Faces New Controversy Over Allegations by Belgian Designer
JISOO
BLACKPINK member JISOO has found herself in the spotlight once again, this time following allegations from a Belgian designer regarding unreturned outfits, adding to previous controversies involving her older brother.

On May 6, Benjamin Voortmans, the founder and designer of the Belgium-based fashion brand Judassime, took to social media to publicly raise the issue, stating, "I still haven't received the outfits I sent for a project involving JISOO." He tagged JISOO’s official social media account and expressed his frustration, demanding, "Give me back my items."

Voortmans claimed, "It has already been six months since I sent several outfits for JISOO’s album cover shoot. These were very important pieces from my collection and were quite expensive." He added, "The schedule kept getting pushed back, and I waited because I was told they didn't know what was happening, but I haven't received any response to this day. I even sent invoices and contracts to prepare for legal action, but there was no reply."

Later, he clarified in a follow-up video, "I had no intention of attacking JISOO," explaining, "I mentioned her name to get a response from someone on JISOO’s team." He emphasized, "I only used her name because it was on all the emails and related documents. I have no ill feelings toward JISOO personally."

While JISOO’s agency has not released an official statement regarding the allegations of unreturned dresses, it is reported that both sides are currently in discussions to resolve the issue after Voortmans brought it to public attention.

In his follow-up video, Voortmans explained, "I received word from the U.S. side that everything is being resolved. A representative is scheduled to be dispatched to South Korea to retrieve the outfits." However, he added, "For young designers, every single piece is incredibly precious. It was a terrible experience to be ignored for six months without any response. I will not apologize."

This controversy has garnered further attention as it follows a series of issues involving JISOO’s older brother that emerged after she established her one-person agency in January 2024. At the time, JISOO’s side stated, "These matters are unrelated to JISOO and her agency, BLISSOO," and added, "We will take all possible civil and criminal measures against the spread of false information and defamation."
