Actor and singer ZU HO will enlist for his mandatory military service on the 11th.
ZU HO is scheduled to enter the Nonsan Army Training Center on the 11th to undergo basic military training before beginning his active-duty service. He plans to enlist quietly without any separate official events.
Through his agency, Haewadal Entertainment, ZU HO stated, "Although I am enlisting a bit late due to my various activities, I will fulfill my national defense duties with even more diligence." He added, "I plan to continue my active career as a singer and actor after my discharge. I will remain consistent to always bring joy to the fans who wait for me. I will return as a more mature person."
ZU HO debuted in 2016 as a member of the group SF9, where he was loved by fans both domestically and internationally as the main rapper. Since then, he has expanded his filmography by actively pursuing an acting career. He notably appeared in web dramas such as 'Meal Kid', 'Exciting Broadcasting Accident', and more. He also gained stage experience by playing the lead role of Lee Seong in the play 'Yeodo'.
In the short-form drama 'Competition with me', released last year, he garnered attention for his dual role as Son Jin-woo, the son of a game company founder, whose soul is swapped with a friend of the same name. He also expanded his fanbase through his intense emotional performance as the lead character Lee Jung-woo in 'Touching Your Heartbeat'.
After debuting in the entertainment industry as a member of SF9, ZU HO signed an exclusive contract with Haewadal Entertainment in 2024 and has been balancing his career as both an actor and a singer.
