Rapper BIG Naughty has released a new song, "Still Freestylin'," reflecting on his recent state of mind.
BIG Naughty dropped the new single "Still Freestylin'" across various online music platforms on the 10th. This track is a reimagined version of "Freestylin'," a song from his 2024 EP '+', and delivers a more honest and autobiographical message.
The new release has garnered significant attention as it follows the controversy surrounding his recent diss track aimed at rapper Swings, titled "INDUSTRY KNOWS." In this song, BIG Naughty does not hide his imperfections or the turbulent times he has experienced.
In the lyrics, he pours out his complex feelings, rapping, "I spent my twenties in that state / Damn," and "I'm sorry to those who were disappointed, but what can I do? / This foolish and clumsy version of me is still me." He continues by reflecting on his immaturity with the lines, "I can't bring myself to ask you to love even this unripe and bitter side of me / But I'll probably grow up to be an adult someday."

In another part of the song, he confesses his loneliness and regret, rapping, "I was lonely at the top / So lonely / That slip-up was my dumb play." He then expresses his determination to resume his activities with the lyrics, "Officially I'm back / Contrary to what you all expected / I actually feel more at ease, starting fresh from zero."
The track features BIG Naughty's signature tight rapping and natural flow, combined with jazzy piano and drum arrangements to create a calm yet bittersweet atmosphere. The accompanying music video uses a black-and-white aesthetic to maximize the emotional depth of the song.
Earlier this February, BIG Naughty released the EP 'Between Cobalt and Navy,' featuring double title tracks "Bye" and "Echo (feat. Sunwoo Jung-a)," and he has been actively performing at various university festivals recently.
