Recent YouTube content featuring entertainer Lee Kyung-kyu (65) has sparked concern among viewers, with many suggesting he should undergo a health check-up after noticing his speech appeared slurred and his reactions seemed slower than usual.

On May 7, a video titled "Half the Population Has Diabetes? Lee Kyung-kyu, Who Underwent Surgery for Diabetes Complications, Uncovers the Truth About Blood Sugar" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'God Kyung-kyu.' The video featured Dr. Lee Hye-min, who runs the channel 'Diabetes School,' to discuss diabetes and blood sugar management.

In the video, Lee Kyung-kyu shared, "My war with diabetes began five years ago. My quality of life is gone. There is nothing I can eat." He also emphasized the importance of health management, mentioning his past experience of receiving a stent procedure due to a myocardial infarction.

However, following the release of the video, the comment section was filled with reactions from viewers worried about his health.

Some viewers commented, "His speech seems much more slurred compared to before," "His facial expressions don't seem as lively as they used to be," "It looks like a red flag for his health," and "He really needs to go to the hospital." One specifically wrote, "His tone sounds like he’s intoxicated, and his pronunciation is off. I compared it to a video from a week ago, and his speech is definitely different," adding, "It might be a side effect of his surgery."

Lee Kyung-kyu has previously addressed health issues on various broadcasts. He underwent a stent procedure for myocardial infarction symptoms in 2013, and last year, when rumors about his health surfaced on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' he revealed that he had even undergone an MRI scan. At the time, he reassured fans by stating, "The test results showed that I was perfectly fine."
