Premiering on the 26th, the Netflix variety show 'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' features rookie manager Yu Jae-seok alongside an unpredictable staff—Lee Kwang soo, Byeon Wooseok, and Ji Ye-eun—as they host a large-scale group camping experience where guests can "talk and play to their hearts' content." The show has already generated significant buzz as a new B&B-style variety program from the production team led by PD Jung Hyo-min, known for hits like 'Hyori's Homestay', reuniting with Netflix.
On the 12th, Netflix officially released the vibrant main poster and trailer for 'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!'.
The main poster features Yu Jae-seok at the center on a podium, surrounded by staff members displaying a range of emotions. Notably, the unconventional slogan, "The guest is king, and I am also king," catches the eye. According to the production team, this phrase was chosen by Yu Jae-seok himself to convey that not only guests but also the staff deserve respect. However, the reality of the high-intensity schedule is expected to provide laughs as the staff members voice their complaints.
The main trailer showcases the non-stop, 24-hour cycle of the camp over a 3-day, 2-night stay. The schedule is packed with activities reminiscent of nostalgic school retreats, including wake-up missions, morning yoga, the classic "iron bag" quiz, talent shows, and a "Manito" (secret friend) game.
The staff helping manager Yu Jae-seok run the camp is equally impressive. The lineup includes the "disciplinarian" Lee Kwang soo, the trendy actor turned affectionate "clumsy prince" Byeon Wooseok, and the youngest member Ji Ye-eun, the only one with previous B&B experience and a "bestie maker." Their chaotic chemistry adds to the fun of running the camp.
Adding to the excitement, the iconic B&B duo LEE HYORI and Lee Sang-soon have joined as special part-timers. Beyond leading yoga classes for the guests, the couple is expected to show off their unparalleled presence as the "original B&B veterans" by blending naturally with the campers.
PDs Jung Hyo-min, Lee So-min, and Hwang Yun-seo explained their directorial intent, stating, "While the foundation is based on a schedule similar to an actual school retreat, we added a touch of fantasy to the nostalgia by incorporating content that only Yu Jae-seok can pull off, such as cushion quizzes and iron bag games."
'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!', which promises to offer a delightful escape from daily life, will be released on Netflix over two weeks, with episodes 1–5 arriving on the 26th and episodes 6–10 on June 2.
