An update has been shared regarding comedian Lee Jin-ho, who collapsed early last month due to an acute brain hemorrhage.

According to industry insiders on the 14th, Lee Jin-ho, who had been treated in the intensive care unit of a university hospital in Seoul after collapsing last month, has regained consciousness. He has since been moved to a general ward and is currently focusing on rehabilitation.

An official stated, "While not yet at a perfect level, he is in a condition where he can communicate," bringing relief to those around him.

As Lee Jin-ho continues his battle for recovery after his sudden collapse, it is reported that his close comedian colleagues have been providing support.

Among his celebrity acquaintances, comedian Lee Yong-jin was reportedly the first to visit the hospital, and other close colleagues have continued to visit and stay by his side.

Lee Jin-ho’s ability to be transported to the hospital within the golden time was largely due to the actions of Kangin, a former member of the group SUPER JUNIOR. It is reported that while on a phone call with Lee Jin-ho on April 1, Kangin sensed that something was wrong with his condition and immediately called 119. At the time, Kangin reportedly knew Lee Jin-ho's home address and the passcode to his front door, which played a decisive role in the rapid rescue.

Meanwhile, Lee Jin-ho debuted as a special recruit comedian for SBS in 2005 and received great love for his role in the "Ung-i Father" segment of "People Looking for a Laugh." He later became active in variety shows such as JTBC's "Knowing Bros," but suspended all activities in 2024 after admitting to illegal gambling. Later, he became embroiled in controversy after allegations of drunk driving and overdue national health insurance payments came to light.
