Director Jang Hang-jun will attend a special GV (Guest Visit) for the film 'My Name' on May 21 at 7:10 PM at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University. The event will feature Director Jang Hang-jun, Director Chung Ji-young, and actors Shin Woo-bin and Choi Jun-woo, who delivered powerful performances in the film, as they share diverse and in-depth stories about the movie.
'My Name' is a mystery drama that follows 18-year-old boy Young-ok, who wants to get rid of his old-fashioned name, his mother Jung-soon, who must protect that name, and the journey to uncover a promise made 50 years ago hidden behind that name. The film, which captures the Jeju April 3 Incident through the lens of a master, has been receiving critical acclaim and is currently enjoying a long theatrical run.

Director Jang Hang-jun had previously been unable to support 'My Name' due to the extended theatrical run of 'The King's Warden'. However, as 'The King's Warden' has recently concluded its theatrical run and moved to OTT and IPTV platforms, he is now able to show his support for his senior's film. There is growing curiosity about his personal take and interpretation of 'My Name'.
Even a month after its release, 'My Name' continues to draw over 1,000 viewers daily, thanks to the power of voluntary screenings and group viewings across the country.
