On the May 17th broadcast of SBS's "My Little Old Boy," Kim Jun-ho and Kim Bo-sung visited Tony An's home.
During the episode, Tony An showed himself actively trading stocks. He kept a close eye on real-time graphs and looked happy as he watched his screen turn red.
"Wow, this is great. I wish every day could be like this," Tony An remarked, drawing attention.
He then sold his Samsung Electronics shares and bought small-cap stocks, aiming for short-term gains. However, the small-cap stocks he purchased continued to hit the daily lower limit, leaving him frustrated and drawing sympathy from viewers.
A short while later, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Bo-sung arrived at his home. The three naturally began discussing their stock investments.
Tony An shared that he had started trading again about four months ago, saying, "In the past, I would just buy stocks based on what acquaintances told me, which led to big losses. So this time, I decided I needed to study, and I've been studying for 5 to 6 hours every day."
When Kim Jun-ho asked about his current performance, Tony An surprised everyone by saying, "Overall, I'm in the green. I'm making about 80 million won in monthly profit."
Hearing this, Kim Jun-ho asked, "Can we entrust you with our money?" while Kim Bo-sung marveled at him, calling him a stock expert. Tony An replied, "Actually, when I invested in the past, I lost enough money in the stock market to buy three supercars."
Kim Bo-sung then confessed, "I lost eight supercars." Kim Jun-ho quipped, "He kept his 'loyalty' to the stocks," causing a burst of laughter.
Kim Bo-sung continued by saying he invested based on relationships and loyalty, revealing that he had even bought more of a stock that had dropped from 30,000 won to 10 won as a memento, which frustrated the "Mom-vengers" watching the show.
Kim Bo-sung also drew attention by revealing that he was down 95.78% on his stocks. "I have two other stocks with the same negative return. I'm someone who went broke while keeping loyalty to my stocks," he said. "My entire fortune is in stocks, but I've barely ever made any money," he added, eliciting pity.
Kim Jun-ho then shared his own story: "During the COVID-19 pandemic, I bought pharmaceutical stocks and hit a huge jackpot. It went up more than 10 times, turning 100 million won into 1.1 billion won. So I put more money in, but it all vanished in a month. Now, I've lost even the principal."
Kim Bo-sung responded, "I still think Kim Jun-ho will hit it big one day. Loyalty to stocks!" to which Kim Jun-ho replied, "I will keep my loyalty to at least one stock," making everyone laugh.
Finally, Tony An revealed that he had followed an expert's recommendation to go all-in on Hynix stock last December, which resulted in a significant profit and made everyone envious.
