Actress Shin Mina is making her return to the big screen with the film 'The Eyes'.
'The Eyes' is a suspense thriller about Seo-jin, who is gradually losing her sight due to a genetic disease, as she uncovers the truth behind the mysterious death of her twin sister. The film is billed as an experiential, entertaining movie where the danger intensifies as she tries to see, and the fear and suspense grow as things become less visible.
Shin Mina, who has delivered diverse performances in films such as 'Our Season', 'Diva', and the drama 'Karma', takes on a dual role. She plays Seo-jin, a photographer losing her vision to hereditary optic neuropathy who investigates her twin's death, and Seo-in, her twin sister who became a successful ceramic artist despite her visual impairment before meeting a mysterious end. This marks her first film release in three years since 'Our Season' and her first project since her marriage to Kim Woo-bin.
Kim Nam-hee, who has shown a strong presence in every project including the dramas 'Reborn Rich' and 'Sweet Home', plays Do-hyuk, a detective who becomes Seo-jin's eyes and helps track down the truth behind Seo-in's death while remaining wary of Seo-jin's obsession. Additionally, Lee Seung-ryong, who made a name for himself in dramas like 'To My Beloved Thief' and 'Our Beloved Summer', makes his screen debut as Hyun-min, a model who is obsessed with Seo-jin with persistent madness.
Kim Young-ah, who delivered eye-catching performances in dramas such as 'Juvenile Justice' and 'Business Proposal', joins the cast as Mi-kyung, a detective assigned to protect Seo-jin from a stalker. Together, they create a fresh and intriguing ensemble that brings a sensory and immersive suspense thriller to life.
The film is directed by Yeom Ji-ho, who debuted with 'Next Door', and features the production team behind the film 'Hide and Seek'.
