BTS member RM has visited the so-called "Crying Tree" at Stanford University in the U.S., the very spot where Tablo once filmed a tearful interview during the controversy surrounding his academic credentials.
On the 19th, RM posted a photo on his social media taken in front of a tree on the Stanford University campus. This location is famous among fans as the "Crying Tree," named after the place where Tablo shed tears during a documentary interview 15 years ago amid the "Tajinyo" (Truth About Tablo) scandal.
Previously, the members of Epik High revisited the same location last year through their own YouTube content.
At the time, the members had Tablo wear an outfit similar to the one he wore during his interview 15 years ago and took photos, turning a painful memory into a moment of laughter, which received a great response from fans.
In particular, in the YouTube content "Epikase - Did You Eat? ft. BTS RM, SUGA" released last March, Tablo actively recommended that RM and SUGA "definitely visit the Crying Tree if you go to Stanford." At the time, the Epik High members drew laughter by jokingly advising, "If you take a photo at the 'Crying Tree,' your bad luck will disappear. All seven of you should go and take a picture so you won't have anything to cry about."

After RM actually visited the spot wearing a hat and a gray jacket similar to what Tablo had worn and posted a verification photo, Tablo expressed his surprise on his own social media, saying, "Namjoon actually went to the Crying Tree."
Fans also showed great interest, leaving comments such as, "BTS is already so successful, how much more successful are they planning to be?", "Did he really go to ward off bad luck?", and "The bond between Tablo and BTS is touching."
Meanwhile, BTS, who are currently on their world tour 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'', are holding concerts at Stanford Stadium in the U.S. on May 17 – 18 and 20. As the first Korean artist to hold a solo concert at the venue for three consecutive days, they are poised to set another meaningful record.
