On the May 18th broadcast of SBS Power FM (107.7MHz) 'WENDY's Young Street', ITZY appeared as guests to share behind-the-scenes stories about their comeback with their new album, 'Motto'.
This album marks their return approximately six months after the release of 'TUNNEL VISION' last November. It features a total of eight tracks, including the refreshing summer-themed title track, 'Motto'. During the show, ITZY performed their new song live for the first time, drawing enthusiastic reactions from listeners who commented, "This is the perfect song to cool down this summer," and "I can't help but groove to the rhythm."
Notably, the choreography for this title track was created by the same choreographer behind ITZY's hit song 'That's A No No,' which previously sparked a viral resurgence. The members expressed their confidence, saying, "We are very excited because we think we can show a different kind of charm compared to 'That's A No No'."
When DJ WENDY asked which artists they would like to collaborate with for a dance challenge, the ITZY members shared a surprise wish, stating, "There is a part in the lyrics that goes 'Mo-mo-ro Mo-mo-mo-mo.' We would love to do the 'Motto' challenge with TWICE's MOMO."
The show also featured a listener's message mentioning DAY6's WONPIL, who previously recorded the highest view count for his perfect cover of the 'That's A No No' challenge. In response, member YUNA sent a warm video message to WONPIL on the spot, saying, "We would be so happy if WONPIL-sunbaenim could join us once again for this challenge," filling the studio with a heartwarming atmosphere.
Meanwhile, 'Young Street' airs daily from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM on SBS Power FM and can also be enjoyed as a visible radio show through the official YouTube channel.
