On the 19th, Park posted a statement on his social media, saying, "I sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable due to the expressions and reactions I made during the recent fandom broadcast."
Previously, Park appeared as a representative fan of the KIA Tigers during a KBO League fandom broadcast of the game between the KIA Tigers and the Samsung Lions, which aired on Tving on the 16th.
Known as an avid fan of the KIA Tigers, Park made free-flowing comments during the broadcast, a format that allows for biased cheering. However, when an opposing player was hit by a pitch, he remarked, "You'll be embarrassed when you watch the replay," implying the player had been hit on purpose, and dismissed a home run by calling it a "fluke." Following the broadcast, criticism mounted, particularly in online baseball communities, arguing that Park lacked respect for the opposing team and its players.

As the controversy grew, Park posted an apology, explaining, "As someone who loves baseball so much, I was so immersed in the game in real-time that I was not careful enough with my remarks."
He continued, "Just as the team I support is precious, I deeply empathize with the fact that other teams are also filled with the love and pride of many fans," adding, "As this is a sport where many teams and fans come together, I will communicate with more caution and consideration in the future."
