The older brother of the late Sulli has once again posted a message on social media seemingly targeting actor Kim Soo-hyun, drawing intense attention to the background of the situation.
On May 21, Sulli's older brother, Mr. Choi, posted on his social media, "The moment you crawl back out, it's round two. The choice is yours." When an acquaintance subsequently asked, "Who did that?" Choi replied, "There's one guy from that star over there." This response has been interpreted as a reference to Kim Soo-hyun's hit drama "My Love from the Star," sparking a massive buzz online.
The post garnered even more attention as it was uploaded shortly after reports emerged on May 20 that the police had determined allegations raised by the YouTube channel Hover Lab—concerning Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron dating when she was a minor—to be false.
This is not the first time Sulli's brother has posted about Kim Soo-hyun on social media. Since March, he has repeatedly raised allegations regarding the film "Real," publicly expressing his discomfort.
At the time, Choi posted cryptic messages such as, "I have a lot to say about Mr. Kim, but I can't bring myself to say it," and "You're about to fall from a high place, so hold on tight." He later directly mentioned the movie "Real," raising allegations that Sulli was coerced into filming bed scenes and nude scenes during production.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Goldmedalist, released an official statement in April, denying the coercion allegations: "The role of Song Yoo-hwa, played by Sulli, included bed scenes from the script stage, and the potential for exposure was also disclosed in advance. Sulli and her agency at the time made the decision to appear after thoroughly reviewing the details." Following this, Sulli's brother, Choi, took a step back, stating, "Based on several testimonies, I became aware a few days before the statement was released that there was no coercion."
Even after that, Sulli's older brother shared a screenshot of a KakaoTalk conversation. In the chat, the person he was talking to wrote, "I heard Kim Soo-hyun even came to Sulli's house." Choi posted this message and demanded a statement from Kim Soo-hyun, writing, "There are witnesses and evidence, so would you like to explain this as well?"
