On the May 25 broadcast of SBS's 'uh, but like, seriously!', Kim Dong-hyun visited Lee Su-ji's boarding house.
During the broadcast, Kim Dong-hyun shared the news that they are expecting their fourth child. Hearing this, Tak Jae-hoon asked if the fourth baby was planned.
Kim Dong-hyun responded, "Yes, it was planned," but then added, "Actually, we originally planned for three, but somehow it just happened that way."
Mentioning that it was a long story, Kim Dong-hyun revealed that he had an argument with his wife over having another child. He explained, "We fought that day. After the fight, I said, 'Three is enough,' and told her, 'I'm going to the clinic.' Then I left and got a vasectomy."
He recalled the moment, saying, "But when I got back home, my wife asked me, 'Are you going to treat me well?' and then showed me a pregnancy test with two lines."
To this, Lee Su-ji commented, "So she got pregnant right before the vasectomy," and Kim Dong-hyun laughed, saying, "It was a close call."
