Sunja and Kyung-su from Season 31 of SBS PLUS and ENA's 'I Am Solo' have revealed that they are a real-life couple.

Following the finale of 'I Am Solo' on May 28, the cast of Season 31 held a live broadcast on the YouTube channel 'Chonjang Entertainment TV,' where Kyung-su personally revealed that he and Sunja are still dating.

Kyung-su expressed his affection, saying, "We started dating after the show ended and are still going strong. Watching the broadcast together, we talked about the difficult and fun moments, which helped us support each other." He added, "Because we had to be careful, both Sunja and I wore masks and hats whenever we went out. We couldn't really go on proper dates, so thinking about how we can walk around freely now gives me a sense of liberation. It's not just a small happiness; it's a huge one."

Sunja also shared, "During the show, I faced a lot of misunderstandings, with people calling me 'obsessive' or 'like Misery,' but I'm not the obsessive type." She continued, "I don't even text or call that often, and we respect each other's personal lives while dating." She explained, "We first met on the Friday of the week we left 'Solo Land,' and we've been meeting up every weekend since."

On the other hand, the other final couples from the show, Young-ho and Ok-soon, as well as Young-sik and Jung-hee, revealed that they have since broken up.

Ok-soon shared, "Young-ho and I were doing well, but due to personal matters requiring me to go abroad, we broke up shortly after the broadcast started airing." Jung-hee also stated, "We were dating happily until the show started airing, but as our feelings grew deeper, we had minor arguments, and we are currently separated."

During the live broadcast, Sunja also drew attention by opening up about the emotional distress she experienced in her relationships with the other female cast members after the show.

Sunja said, "After filming ended, I thought everyone was just overly immersed in the filming environment, so I tried to get along with them as if nothing had happened. I tried to stay bright in the group chat and even attended the season gatherings." However, she added, "To be honest, even the name of the group chat, 'Girls' Talk,' didn't feel pleasant. Inside, rude questions about my relationship with Kyung-su, like 'Are you guys still seeing each other?', kept coming up, and there were many moments where they made things hard for me under the guise of 'girls' talk.' Since Jung-hee, who was directly involved, was also there, I gathered the courage to speak up, but I was told, 'Aren't you being too sensitive?' and 'Why are you ruining the mood?' It made me feel like I had become an uncomfortable presence in that group."

Ultimately, Sunja explained that she decided to stop attending gatherings with the female cast members and left the group chat. She added that while she resolved her issues with Jung-hee, she did not accept apologies from the other members, as she felt they lacked sincerity.

Sunja added, "Since I also received a lot of malicious comments early in the broadcast calling me a 'villain' or 'obsessive,' I can't even fathom how much those currently being targeted must be hurting. I hope people can view us not as victims or perpetrators, but simply as human beings." She concluded, "Please refrain from excessive criticism or speculation, and I hope you will support us so we can live more mature and better lives."
