Singer Seo Inyoung has announced her remarriage, approximately two years after her divorce.
On June 7, a media outlet reported that she is in a serious relationship with Choi Ji-hoon, the CEO of NP who is six years her senior, with plans to marry in the second half of this year. Seo Inyoung previously married a non-celebrity businessman in 2023 but divorced by mutual agreement in 2024. Now, about two years after her divorce, she is preparing for a fresh start.
With the news of her remarriage spreading, Seo Inyoung's views on marriage, which she recently shared during her appearance on Lee Ji-hye's YouTube channel, are drawing attention once again.
At the time, while sorting through her luxury bags, Lee Ji-hye told her, "Still, keep at least two. You might get married again later." In response, Seo Inyoung laughed and expressed her desire to remarry, saying, "You're right. I will. Marriage is my dream." She did not hide her intention to remarry, agreeing with Lee Ji-hye's comment, "You'll need these bags even if it's just for the family meeting."
During the broadcast, Seo Inyoung also honestly opened up about her feelings during her first marriage. "I got married not long after my mother suddenly passed away. It wasn't the marriage I had originally imagined. I felt so lonely and fell into depression," she confessed. Recalling the situation at the time, she added, "I planned to stop working once I got married, but not working brought on depression. I spent all my money and went through a hard time."
Meanwhile, Seo Inyoung's fiancé, CEO Choi Ji-hoon, is a businessman leading the XR (Extended Reality) content company NP. Seo Inyoung also recently ended her exclusive contract with her agency, SW Entertainment, and is preparing for a fresh start.
