Set to premiere on June 26, SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama "Agent Kim Reactivated" (written by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun) is a "father-universe" revenge action drama. It follows the "most ordinary" father in the world who becomes the "most dangerous" man to rescue his only daughter.
In the series, Choi Dae-hoon plays Seong Han-su, a former secret agent who currently runs a taekwondo academy but was once dubbed an "off-the-charts talent" due to his overwhelming skills. Yoon Kyung-ho portrays Park Jin-cheol, a doting father who was once a legendary secret agent known as the "God of War," whom even the state could not control. The two will join the titular lead So Ji-sub (playing Manager Kim) on his desperate journey of revenge, injecting powerful energy into the drama with their fantastic chemistry and explosive action.
In the newly released stills on June 8, the two exude a palpable tension just a second before their secret rendezvous. Seong Han-su (played by Choi Dae-hoon), dressed in a taekwondo uniform, showcases a sharp presence right before attempting to "knock" on a locked container door with a mid-air kick. On the other hand, Park Jin-cheol (played by Yoon Kyung-ho), wearing a military uniform and a headset inside the container while monitoring the situation outside, adds a heavy sense of intimidation with his serious expression. Viewers are highly curious to see how the legendary "1,440-degree kick" and the pre-arranged plan designed by the "God of War" will unfold through this covert meeting.
It is said that the two actors showed incredible immersion on set. Choi Dae-hoon professionally coordinated movements and led high-difficulty action rehearsals, while Yoon Kyung-ho dominated the atmosphere with an overwhelming charisma that instantly commanded the room. Attention is focused on their legendary acting transformations, which combine their signature friendly charm with the breathtaking, unexpected side of elite secret agents.
The production team emphasized, "There is not a single throwaway scene in "Agent Kim Reactivated"." Meanwhile, adapted from the mega-hit Naver webtoon of the same name, SBS's highly anticipated Friday-Saturday drama "Agent Kim Reactivated" is a collaboration between writer Nam Dae-jung of the film "Love Reset" and directors Lee Seung-young of "Wonderful World" and rising director Lee So-eun. It will premiere on Friday, June 26 at 9:50 PM KST.
