Kim Gyu-ri Shares Update After Terrifying Home Invasion: "I'm So Thankful to the Police for Their Swift Response"
Kim Gyu-riActress Kim Gyu-ri shared an update following a terrifying home invasion and robbery at her residence, expressing her deep gratitude to the police and those around her who helped.

On June 7, Kim Gyu-ri posted a long message on her social media alongside a photo of herself walking along a path lined with beautiful flowers. She wrote, "I went out for a stroll and came across a beautiful flower path. But I had temporarily forgotten that even a flower path can actually be a gravel field." She added, "I will continue to walk down this path silently and steadily."

She continued, "Thanks to the Samcheong Police Substation, the Jongno Police Station, the Violent Crimes Team 4 detectives, the forensic investigation team, the general situation room officers, and above all, Team Leader Seo-gun, who rushed to the scene at the speed of light as soon as I reported it, I am quickly finding peace of mind." She expressed, "I sincerely thank everyone." She also added, "Currently, I am staying under the protection of my family with enhanced security. I will take good care of my health."

Previously, on May 20 at around 9:00 PM, Kim Gyu-ri fell victim to a robbery at her home in Bukchon Hanok Village, Jongno-gu, Seoul. At the time, a man in his 40s, referred to as 'A', broke into her house, demanded money and valuables, and used physical violence.

At the time of the incident, Kim Gyu-ri and a female acquaintance were reportedly inside the house together. While tied up, they seized a moment when the perpetrator's surveillance became lax, escaped the house, and asked citizens for help, eventually calling the police to escape the crisis. The perpetrator surrendered to the police in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, about three hours after the crime. Subsequently, the court issued an arrest warrant due to flight risk, and the case has been forwarded to the prosecution.

Meanwhile, it was also revealed that the suspect is the same individual who had previously broken into the home of television personality Seo Dong-joo.

Seo Dong-joo recently shared on her social media, "In January of this year, a man posing as a city gas inspector entered my home. Upon checking later, he was not an actual inspector, and an investigation was launched after I reported it to the police. I found out later that he had tried to contact and visit me last year as well, claiming he was a fan and wanted to meet me to 'receive energy.'" She urged others to take precautions to prevent becoming victims of crime.
