Singer Sean has successfully completed the "2026 6.6 Walking Festival" to improve the housing environment for national veterans.

Habitat for Humanity Korea announced that 2,200 citizens participated in the "2026 6.6 Walking Festival" held at Namsan Park in Seoul on Memorial Day, June 6, taking meaningful steps together for national veterans.

The event was organized to honor the sacrifices of national veterans who dedicated their lives to the country and to support housing improvements for those living in vulnerable conditions. Participants walked a 6.6km course around Namsan Park, reflecting on the significance of Memorial Day.

Through this event, a total of 287.25 million KRW was raised. This includes 66 million KRW in citizen participation fees, a 10 million KRW donation from the Korea Veterans Health Service, 6.25 million KRW from an anonymous individual donor, and a 5 million KRW donation from singer Sean. Habitat for Humanity Korea added 200 million KRW from its own project budget to reach the final amount.

The entire amount raised will be used to improve the housing conditions of national veterans living in poor environments, such as homes with risks of leaks and electrical short circuits, outdoor traditional outhouses, and lack of insulation.

First held in 2023, the "6.6 Walking Festival" marked its fourth anniversary this year, with cumulative donations reaching a total of 1.34425 billion KRW.

Singer Sean, the campaign's promotional ambassador, attended the event, which was hosted by YouTuber Lee Seung-kook. Musical actor Jung Seung-won sang the national anthem, adding to the solemnity of Memorial Day.

Sean said, "More than anything, I hope everyone completes the course safely. I am deeply grateful to the many people who participated. Your steps will help build comfortable homes for our national veterans."

Ma Hee-ja, board chairperson of Habitat for Humanity Korea, shared, "Helping the heroes who dedicated their lives to protecting our country spend their later years in safer and more comfortable homes is the patriotism we can put into practice."

Meanwhile, Habitat for Humanity Korea has supported housing improvements for 148 families of descendants of independence activists from 2017 to 2025. Together with singer Sean, the organization continues to host various donation campaigns, including the "3.1 Run" and "815 Run."
