UK-based influencer and YouTuber 'Honorary Brit' Baek Jin-kyung has shared the news of her pregnancy after four years of marriage.
On the afternoon of June 8, Baek Jin-kyung uploaded a video to her YouTube channel, revealing the news of her baby, saying, "I am 14 weeks pregnant."
Sharing an ultrasound photo, Baek Jin-kyung expressed her joy, saying, "I've been thinking about how to tell you this, but since it's good news, I wanted to tell you personally. My husband really loves children. The baby suddenly came to us at a time when I was also contemplating when would be the best time to have a child as I started my YouTube activities." She added, "We struggled with infertility for three years, and the baby came to us just when we were wondering when would be the best time to have a child."
Having recently celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary with British actor Rohan Nedd, she said, "The baby was conceived on the very day I returned to the UK after staying in Korea for about three months. It's so fascinating, and it still doesn't feel real." She added, "I feel like everyone is precious now. When I look at other people, I think to myself, 'That person is also a child whom someone cherished and gave birth to.'"
Her due date is December 8, and she plans to welcome her baby in the UK. To ensure a healthy delivery, she is currently managing her blood sugar levels through diet and exercise.
Finally, Baek Jin-kyung emphasized, "The identity of my channel will not change. I have no intention of pivoting to a family-focused YouTube channel. I will continue to share my life and experiences in the UK just as I do now."
