Singer Kim Yoon-seol, who made a name for herself by appearing on JTBC's audition program 'Sing Again 4' and other shows, has passed away at the age of 27.
According to Yonhap News on June 9, Kim Yoon-seol passed away on June 7. The deceased's wake was set up at a hospital funeral hall in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, and the exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
The sad news was first made known through an acquaintance. An acquaintance posted a photo with funeral information on their social media, writing, "Seol has gone to heaven. Her phone and everything else are locked, so I couldn't notify anyone directly, which is why I'm sharing this on Instagram. Please join us so Seol's final journey won't be lonely."
Following the sudden news, tributes from colleagues poured in. Kim Jae-guk, the vocalist of the band Tacopy who appeared alongside her on JTBC's 'Sing Again 4,' expressed his condolences on social media, writing, "Kim Yoon-seol, who appeared as Singer No. 6, has gone to heaven. She was such a kind person." He added, "May she rest in peace."
The deceased first became known to the public by winning Mnet's children's audition program 'Voice Kids' in 2013. She later debuted with the digital single 'Man and Woman 2013' alongside Yang Yo-seob, and steadily continued her musical activities by appearing on shows such as 'I Can See Your Voice 7,' 'The Voice Korea 2020,' and 'Sing Again 4.'
In particular, Kim Yoon-seol had recently been communicating with fans by showcasing live broadcasts and singing content, primarily on the TikTok platform.

Coincidentally, June 7 marked her 100th day of activities on TikTok.
On June 6, just one day before reaching her 100th day of broadcasting, she left her final message, adding to the heartbreak. She wrote, "It's not at midnight today, but at 8:00 PM on the day. I thought about going live right at midnight as it transitions to the 100th day, but I just couldn't find the strength, so I actually hesitated a lot about whether to even do the 100th-day broadcast. But since there are regular viewers, I should find the strength and do it, right?" She also expressed her gratitude to fans, saying, "Thank you so much for always being with me. Let's continue to make good times together in the future."
