2PM member and actor JUNHO has revealed the reason behind his non-stop, wide-ranging activities across various fields.
In a recent pictorial and interview with star & style magazine @star1, JUNHO shared updates on his busy life, constantly transitioning between his roles as a singer and an actor.
In particular, regarding 2PM's Japanese debut 15th-anniversary concert "THE RETURN," held at the Tokyo Dome in May, JUNHO expressed, "The moment I stepped onto the stage, a rush of deep emotion and joy hit me all at once. I could truly feel the hearts of our fans who had waited so long to see the six of us perform together, which made me realize throughout the entire show just how precious this time is. Filled with happiness and gratitude, we are also working hard to prepare for our Korean concert in August, so please look forward to it."
In his upcoming project, the Netflix series "Buy King", JUNHO will take on the role of Han Ji-yeol, a cold-headed strategist and a third-generation chaebol heir.
"Han Ji-yeol is a character with a highly rational and cold side," he said. "I wanted to convey a dry, chilly vibe, so I've been managing my weight. Although he is a chaebol character like Gu Won in "King the Land", I will be able to show a completely different side of myself."
He also shared his thoughts on recently leaving JYP Entertainment, his home of 17 years, to join his new agency, O3 Collective. "I feel a different sense of responsibility than before," JUNHO said. "I still consider myself to be in a learning phase. Since I can experience many things from a fresh perspective, I am enjoying working together with the team."
When asked about his relentless schedule, he showed his unchanging passion by replying, "Rather than finding the busy times exhausting, staying active actually gives me energy."
