Boy group NOWZ is expanding their musical spectrum by continuing to release self-composed tracks by the members.

On June 9, JINHYUK released a video for his unreleased self-composed song "ROSE" on NOWZ's official YouTube channel. "ROSE" is a track that compares the feelings of love—where people hurt each other yet cannot easily let go—to a rose. The song showcases a different side of JINHYUK, blending his signature sweet vocals with a deeper emotional delivery.

The accompanying video features JINHYUK walking along a street with a view of Tokyo Tower in Japan. He captured fans' attention with a calm and natural vibe, contrasting with his intense performances on stage.

This release is an extension of NOWZ's ongoing individual music projects for each member. Previously, leader HYEONBIN delivered a heartfelt message to fans by releasing his first self-composed digital single, "Our Beginning," while SIYUN also showcased his unique musical world by releasing a video for his self-composed track "Save me."

Since their debut, NOWZ has consistently participated in their album production. Starting with the title track "OoWee" and the B-side "TICKET" from their 2024 debut single "NOWADAYS", the members have contributed to writing lyrics for songs like "Let's get it," "EVERGLOW," "Problem Child," and "HomeRUN." They have also built up their musical capabilities by being credited as composers for "Fly to the youth (Feat. YUQI)."

Last month, NOWZ proved their rising global popularity by winning the "Hot Trend Award" for the second consecutive year at the "ASEA 2026" (Asia Star Entertainer Awards) held at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Since then, they have continued their active promotions, performing on various stages such as the "2026 Seowon Valley Charity Green Concert - Paju."
