In the episode airing on June 10, defending champions 'FC National Family' and the four-star dynasty 'FC World Class' will clash in the finals of the 2nd G-League.
Both teams have reached the top of the league after recording a perfect 5-0 record in this reboot season. While FC National Family holds the upper hand in their head-to-head record with three wins out of three matches, FC World Class boasts the formidable strength of a four-time champion, making this an unpredictable showdown.
On the day of the match, FC World Class coach Lee Young-pyo initiated a special training session using videos of their past defeats to spark the players' competitive drive. Coach Lee shared, "During my days playing for Tottenham, we won a match after watching a video about the history of our rivalry with Arsenal. I prepared this so the players could find the same motivation I did back then." The players, aiming to become the first-ever 'five-star' champions, shed tears as they strengthened their resolve to get revenge.

This final is also drawing attention as a classic battle between the ultimate offense and defense of the reboot season. Si Eun-mi, the goalkeeper for FC National Family who has conceded only one goal across five matches, will face off against Jai, the ace of FC World Class who set a record by scoring five goals in a single match. Jai, who failed to score against Si Eun-mi in their last final, expressed her determination for revenge, saying, "Unlike last time, my physical condition has improved, and my confidence is very high."
To counter this, FC National Family coach Choi Jin-cheul made a bold tactical move, deploying defender Park Seung-hi as a forward to shut down Jai. Tasked with neutralizing the opponent's ace, Park Seung-hi shared her resolve: "Although it's a major position change, I will do my best to block Jai from the front."
Meanwhile, fitting for a grand finale, the stands were packed with stars showing their support. Former FC Actionista member and actress Jang Jin-hee, actor Song Jin-woo, trot singer Song Min-jun, traditional Korean music (gugak) artist Laure Mafo, and cast members from the hit dating show 'Single's Inferno 5'—including Yun Hyeon-je, Shin Hyun-woo, and Woo Sung-min—all gathered to cheer passionately. Fans are highly anticipating who will lift the championship trophy amid the overwhelming support and expectations.
Meanwhile, starting this week, 'Kick a Goal' will air at its new time slot on Wednesdays at 9 PM, moved up from its previous time of 10:20 PM.
