Artist JUNNY will release his new digital single "Heaven Can Wait" today, June 11, at 6 PM KST through various online music streaming sites.
"Heaven Can Wait" is a new song released about six months after his season song "SEASONS," which was released in December last year. It holds special meaning as it is being released ahead of his first solo concert in Korea, "DJ Soulscape Curated 29 JUNNY," which will be held at Hyundai Card Understage in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on June 13.
The new song "Heaven Can Wait" captures a moment so beautiful that one would want to put even heaven on hold for a while. It delicately portrays the emotions and atmosphere of the moment of falling in love, while the restrained rhythm and minimal sound deliver both a luxurious mood and tension at the same time.
In particular, JUNNY participated in writing and composing the song himself, infusing it with his unique musical color. Inspired by Michael Jackson's song of the same name, this new track features a modern reinterpretation of the groove characteristic of the classic pop era.
JUNNY's smooth vocals also maximize the song's atmosphere. He has infused the entire track with a "Quiet Luxury" vibe, which pursues a subtle elegance within an overall clean and natural style.
The music video, released alongside the track, is also drawing attention. Combining performance and a cinematic mood, the video features special appearances by entertainer Jung Jun-ha and dancer no:ze, adding a unique charm. Jung Jun-ha transforms into a hip chef, while NO:ZE enhances the immersion with her signature presence and performance.
Following the release of his new song, JUNNY will hold his first solo concert in Korea on June 13 to meet with fans.
