SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama "Agent Kim Reactivated" (written by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun), which premieres on Friday, June 26 at 9:50 PM, is adapted from the Naver webtoon of the same name. It is a "father-universe" revenge action drama about the "most ordinary" father who becomes the "most dangerous" man to rescue his only daughter.
In the drama, Choi Dae-hoon plays Seong Han-su, Tae-hoon's father and a former secret agent who was once an Olympic Taekwondo gold medalist and dubbed an "out-of-spec figure." Yoon Kyungho plays Park Jin-cheol, Dabin's father and a former secret agent known as the "God of War." Appearing as long-time friends of the protagonist, Manager Kim (played by So Ji-sub), the two are expected to energize the show with their extraordinary chemistry, grounded in next-level action and deep paternal love.
Meanwhile, in the newly released stills on June 16, the two tease legendary laughter with their "hellish banter" hidden behind thrilling action. In the scene, Seong Han-su (played by Choi Dae-hoon) and Park Jin-cheol (played by Yoon Kyungho), who were having drinks with Manager Kim, find themselves caught up in an unexpected confrontation.
The two try their best to maintain their composure, saying, "We're just middle-aged guys wearing glasses, right?" However, for some reason, Park Jin-cheol suddenly loses his temper and throws a furious punch, instantly leaving Seong Han-su in a tight spot.
Above all, the chaotic sight of Park Jin-cheol roaring in a fit of rage, and Seong Han-su roaring even louder while putting him in a rear-naked choke to calm him down, completely stole the show on set. Curiosity is mounting over what exactly triggered the usually patient father Park Jin-cheol to explode, drawing immense attention to this scene that promises legendary comedic action.
Even on the actual filming set, the two actors boasted perfect synergy, wrapping up the shoot in no time. Choi Dae-hoon heightened immersion with his booming voice that dominated the set and his realistic acting that instantly built tension. Meanwhile, Yoon Kyungho threw his entire body into powerful stunts, raising expectations for his role as an "action weapon."
