Director Na Hong-jin’s new film 'HOPE' has officially unveiled its main poster.

The newly released poster captures a tense moment featuring three individuals, guns in hand, standing guard in a dark, dense forest where the depth is impossible to gauge.

The wary expressions of Beom-seok, the head of the Hopo Port substation, and Seong-gi, a local youth, create a palpable sense of suspense, leaving viewers breathless as they wonder what will unfold. The powerful energy and presence of the police officer Seong-ae, who aims her weapon with an unwavering gaze, further heighten expectations for the synergy between the three characters.

Above the three characters, the silhouette of an alien emerges, signaling the beginning of an unfathomable incident and further amplifying curiosity about 'HOPE'.

The dense forest featured in the 'HOPE' main poster was filmed in the Retezat region of Romania, one of the film's primary locations. This area, where untouched nature and raw vitality coexist, stimulates anticipation for the unique mise-en-scène that only 'HOPE' can deliver.

Meanwhile, 'HOPE' has confirmed its release in special formats, including Dolby Cinema, Dolby Atmos, ScreenX, and 4DX. Dolby Cinema will offer an unprecedented cinematic experience through the vivid colors of Dolby Vision® and the rich sound of Dolby Atmos®.

Additionally, the Dolby Atmos theaters are expected to further enhance audience immersion through spatial sound. Through the ScreenX and 4DX releases, the film will provide viewers with an overwhelming sense of immersion and tension across three screens—left, right, and center.

'HOPE' tells the story of Beom-seok, the head of the Hopo Port substation located in the Demilitarized Zone, who hears reports of a tiger sighting from local youths. As the entire village goes on high alert, he encounters an unbelievable reality. The film is set to be released on July 15.
