TWICE member SANA has personally addressed the recent controversy surrounding her outfit.

On the 18th, SANA took to the fan communication platform Bubble to explain, "When I was getting fitted, the front was secured so it wouldn't gape open. However, I was so busy when I arrived at the event that I didn't get a chance to check the mirror. I didn't even realize the outfit had come undone until I got back to the waiting room."

She added, "I was already upset that I couldn't pull off the look the way I did during the fitting, and it makes me even more upset that there's so much talk about it. Or maybe not. I don't know," expressing her honest feelings.

Earlier that day, TWICE attended a brand event in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where they participated in a photo session for the press.

SANA wore a floral-patterned mini dress, but the front of the dress gaped open, revealing much of the inner garment she was wearing. Some expressed concern, asking, "Isn't that underwear that shouldn't be visible?" Others countered that since the inner garment appeared to be made of the same pattern and material as the mini dress, it was likely intended to be shown.

According to SANA's clarification, the outfit was designed to naturally show the inner layer, and she had intended to create a natural look by pulling up one side of the skirt's hem. However, the outfit did not sit the way it did during the fitting, leading to criticism regarding "excessive exposure." After discovering the situation in the waiting room, SANA adjusted her outfit before returning for a second photo session. In photos and videos taken afterward, the front of her dress appeared more securely fastened.

Meanwhile, TWICE recently wrapped up their successful European tour, which began in London, and will hold their encore concert, 'THIS IS FOR,' at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul, from July 10 to 12.
