On the 15th, Disney+ confirmed the release date for its new AI mystery deduction game show "Murder Club" as Wednesday, the 29th, and unveiled the main poster and trailer, which are filled with palpable tension.

"Murder Club" is an AI mystery deduction game show where celebrities visit the mysterious "Murder Club," a group where anyone can seamlessly transform into a murder suspect. The program features a new space and era each episode, ranging from a baseball stadium to the Joseon era and a prison. In each episode, the cast members become unique players and suspects, engaging in intense psychological warfare involving lies, cover-ups, acting, and deduction to identify the single culprit. In particular, the AI-generated murder case episodes are expected to provide a unique experience compared to existing deduction variety shows by offering a realistic immersion as if the cast members themselves are reenacting the case.

Above all, "Murder Club" is drawing attention as it is the first fixed variety show for global esports icon Faker. Having only appeared on variety shows as a guest or on talk shows, expectations are high for Faker to showcase intense brain games and psychological warfare as a fixed member.

"Murder Club" features a star-studded lineup of players alongside Faker. Starting with Pani Bottle, the top travel YouTuber with 2.58 million subscribers, the cast includes comedian Choi Yang-rak, Um Ji-yoon, actor Shin Sung-rok, former civil servant Kim Seon-tae (Chungju City's promotional man), singer MAX Changmin, baseball player Kim Hyun-soo, TOMORROW X TOGETHER member BEOMGYU, and Chef Park Joo-sung, the "Iron Arm" from the popular cooking survival show "Culinary Class Wars," all representing their respective fields to show unpredictable psychological warfare.

The main trailer released on the same day immediately grabbed attention by showing the tense role-playing of the players who became suspects in settings like a baseball stadium, the Joseon era, and a prison. Along with the ominous voice saying, "The goal is one: find the culprit of the murder case," the cast members are seen crossing paths while guarding each other, hiding their own truths.

As they dig into the case, sharp interrogations ensue, and the cast members engage in fierce arguments, saying things like, "Doesn't he seem like a psycho?", "He is a very vicious X", and "Did that X try to kill me?", foreshadowing a tense psychological battle. In particular, even Faker, who has shown perfect composure and cool-headed judgment, was captured with a look of confusion and bewilderment, raising curiosity about whether he will be able to successfully find the real culprit in this difficult murder mystery.

The AI mystery deduction game show "Murder Club" will be released on Disney+ every Wednesday, starting with its first episode on Wednesday, the 29th.
