Broadcaster and webtoon artist Kian84 is expanding his musical career with the release of his first duet song "Chicken and Her" alongside Kangnam.
Kian84 will release the collaboration single "Chicken and Her" with Kangnam on various online music platforms today, July 16, at 6 PM. The two previously drew attention after singing Matsubara Miki's "Stay With Me" together on Kangnam's YouTube channel "Neighborhood Friend Kangnami". That video recorded over 7 million views, sparking interest in the duo's unexpected musical chemistry.
Born from this positive reception, "Chicken and Her" features lyrics written by Kian84, with Kangnam handling production and composition. The song is a city pop track with a retro sensibility, blending upbeat sounds and a refreshing atmosphere to capture memories of more youthful days.
Kian84 has been steadily broadening his activities in the music field recently. He has demonstrated his potential as a singer-songwriter by releasing tracks such as "Dandelion," which he wrote and composed himself for the 2024 MBC variety show "Music Adventure by Accident," as well as "Tornado" and "Like a Friend," a collaboration with Pani Bottle and Yoo Teo.
