The Korean musician mentioned by BTS leader RM during an overseas interview, first-generation punk rock band No Brain, is drawing attention from fans around the world.
No Brain leader Lee Sung-woo posted on his social media on the 27th, saying, "BTS's RM recommended us."
He then expressed his surprise, saying, "Such a wild thing to happen in this life," and added, "RM has a good eye for things." Lee Sung-woo wrapped up his post by asking fans, "Please listen to No Brain's music a lot, ARMY."
Previously, RM appeared in an interview video with British fashion designer Bella Freud released on the 22nd, during a segment introducing the Korean punk scene. The interviewer mentioned the rough and tense musical style of Sonic Youth and Kim Gordon, and asked him to recommend a Korean artist with a similar vibe.
RM immediately picked No Brain in response to the question.
With a laugh, he answered, "Just mentioning the band's name will convey its unique feel."
