On the 29th, Galaxy Corporation announced the news of its exclusive contract with Jung Il-woo. Choi Yong-ho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation, stated, "Actor Jung Il-woo is a global Hallyu actor who has been loved across Asia for a long time and is a competitive IP. Moving beyond a simple management company, we will present a new global entertainment model that combines content, technology, and brand business with actor Jung Il-woo, creating new synergy in the global market."

Galaxy Corporation is a global entertech company that fuses AI, physical AI, and robot technology with entertainment. Moving beyond simple management, it is building a new business model that expands artist IP into AI content, physical AI content, robot entertainment, global fan platforms, commerce, and brand business.

Through this contract, Jung Il-woo plans to expand his scope of activities beyond traditional acting activities such as dramas and movies into various new business areas, including AI-based content, global fan platforms, and brand collaborations.

Making his debut in 2006 with the MBC sitcom "High Kick!", Jung Il-woo is a veteran actor who has produced numerous hit works such as "Moon Embracing the Sun" and "Diary of a Night Watchman". In particular, with tens of millions of followers on global social media, including 14.5 million followers on Weibo, he has established himself as a representative Hallyu star leading a powerful fandom across Asia.

Recently, he also gave a passionate performance as the mysterious character Takigawa in the Amazon Prime original series "The Criminals".

Meanwhile, Galaxy Corporation is home to artists such as singers G-DRAGON, TAEMIN, and Kim Jong-kook, actors Song Kang-ho and Ryu Junyeol, and Major League Baseball player Lee Jung-hoo.
