Following the meaningful success of her film "THE EYES", actor Shin Mina is set to target the global OTT market this fall with the drama "The Remarried Empress".
Shin Mina achieved the feat of drawing 1.5 million moviegoers nationwide with her solo-lead film "THE EYES". "THE EYES" is a suspense thriller where Seo-jin, who is gradually losing her sight due to a genetic disease, uncovers the truth after digging into suspicions surrounding the death of her twin sister. In this work, Shin Mina heightened the ultimate tension by portraying the twin sisters Seo-jin and Seo-in with detailed acting.

"THE EYES" showed its strong potential by pushing out Disney animation "Toy Story 5", which was competing at the same time, to rise to the top of the box office. As a result, it surpassed 1.5 million moviegoers, coming close to its break-even point.
In addition, it has been officially invited to the competition section of the 59th Sitges Film Festival and confirmed for overseas release including North America, raising expectations for her active overseas performances.

Shin Mina will target the OTT market in the second half of the year with the Disney+ original series "The Remarried Empress". In "The Remarried Empress", she will transform into Navier, the Empress of the Eastern Empire, and showcase the strong determination of an empress who independently pioneers her destiny without collapsing even in front of massive trials.
Meanwhile, the film "THE EYES" starring Shin Mina is currently screening to rave reviews in theaters, and the Disney+ original series "The Remarried Empress" will meet viewers this fall.
