The SBS Tuesday variety show "High Valley, Top Hero" wrapped up its run on the 4th amid passionate love from viewers.
"High Valley, Top Hero" is a variety show featuring a plan-free and pollution-free life set in a mountain village, where people temporarily put aside complex modern civilization. The down-to-earth and authentic daily lives presented by LIM YOUNGWOONG and his close friends captivated both television and OTT platforms right from the first broadcast.
Immediately after airing, it went straight to number one in the daily variety category of Netflix's Top Series in South Korea, and TV viewership ratings also soared to a peak of 6.5% (based on Nielsen Korea households in the Seoul metropolitan area), proving his unrivaled power.
This season featured support from ZO ZAZZ, Hyun Bong-shik, Huh Kyung-hwan, Roy Kim, Kwak Beom, and Nucksal, alongside actors Cha Seung-won and Kim Do-hoon, completing delightful chemistry.
Producing Director Han Bi-in, who led the show, named LIM YOUNGWOONG as the number one contributor to the program's success. PD Han shared behind-the-scenes stories, saying, "The cast members had so much fun that they even said on their way home, 'We want to stay just one more day.' This is because Young-woong, the bachelor of the house, took comfortable care of the guests even in places not captured by the camera." PD Han added, "The staff is also full of affection for this program. Especially thanks to LIM YOUNGWOONG, a loyal man who spent both the first and last broadcasts with the staff."
Toward the end of the final broadcast of "High Valley, Top Hero," LIM YOUNGWOONG was shown directly mentioning the next season, raising expectations for a new season.
Meanwhile, following "High Valley, Top Hero," "Whenever Possible," hosted by Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok, is scheduled to air starting on the 11th.
