Group I-DLE member MIYEON is releasing her first Japanese digital single.
On August 6 at midnight, her agency Cube Entertainment released the artwork teaser image for MIYEON's Japanese digital single "RUN AWAY" through the official social media channels of I-DLE.
The released image clearly displays a bright and blue sky, hinting at the refreshing mood of the new song. Along with this, the news of the release on the coming 10th has heightened expectations.
As the main vocalist of the group, MIYEON has proven her solid vocal skills through various OST participation and collaborations with other artists. In particular, with "Drive", the title track of her first solo mini-album "MY" released in 2022, she topped domestic music charts and music broadcasts, firmly demonstrating her potential as a solo artist.
"Say My Name", the title track of her second mini-album "MY, Lover" released last year, topped domestic music charts and QQ Music's bestseller daily and weekly charts side by side right after its release, while Kugou Music's chart saw a massive entry of tracks including the title song, proving her popularity.
I-DLE, the group MIYEON belongs to, recently released their 9th mini-album containing the title track "Gimme Dat Love", and has been continuing active promotions by embarking on their fourth world tour "2026 I-DLE WORLD TOUR [Syncopation]" and performing at the major US music festival Lollapalooza.
Meanwhile, MIYEON's first Japanese digital single "RUN AWAY" will be released on major domestic and international music platforms on August 10.
