'The Odyssey' Tops Box Office for Two Consecutive Days in Korea, Surpassing 500,000 Cumulative Moviegoers

Movie "The Odyssey" has maintained its position at the top of the box office for two consecutive days.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticket computer network on the 7th, "The Odyssey" drew 245,794 moviegoers nationwide on the 6th. Its cumulative audience number reached 539,514.

After taking first place at the box office by beating "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" on its opening day, "The Odyssey" kept up its momentum for a second consecutive day. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" attracted 237,605 moviegoers on the same day, engaging in a tight race with "The Odyssey".

The two films, which rank first and second in advance ticket sales, are expected to engage in fierce competition for the top spot at theaters this weekend as well.

Meanwhile, the Korean film "HOPE" saw its daily audience drop to the 20,000 range (27,128) following the release of the two films, flashing a red light on its path to breaking even.
