THE BOYZ member ERIC has signed an exclusive contract with GRID Entertainment to begin full-scale musical activities.

GRID Entertainment announced on the 10th, "We have signed an exclusive contract with THE BOYZ's ERIC. We plan to provide full support so that he can showcase his capabilities as an artist across various fields, including music activities."

As the youngest member of THE BOYZ, ERIC left a strong impression with his outstanding dance skills from the time his debut lineup was revealed. Since then, he has expanded his musical capabilities by participating in rap making and lyric writing, and he was also recognized for his potential as a host by winning the Rookie Award in the Radio category at the "2025 MBC Entertainment Awards".

GRID Entertainment stated, "We are very happy to be working with artist ERIC, who possesses outstanding skills and limitless potential. We will spare no effort in providing full support so that the artist can fully unleash his capabilities and grow on an even bigger stage. We plan to show great sides of him through various activities moving forward, so please show him a lot of interest and support."

ERIC also shared his thoughts. He stated, "Based on the experience and lessons I have built up through THE BOYZ's activities, I will show many new sides and potentials moving ahead. I resonated with the musical direction and production vision envisioned by GRID Entertainment and the representative, and I felt that it matches well with the image I want to show in the future. I am confident that we will be able to create good synergy based on trust and respect." He added, "I hope you will look forward to the new aspects we will create together."

Meanwhile, GRID Entertainment is home to group POW, as well as SANGWON and LEO who are active as part of ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and actively supports artists with global competitiveness in their domestic and international activities.

Previously, nine members of THE BOYZ—excluding NEW, consisting of SANGYEON, JACOB, YOUNGHOON, HYUNJAE, JUYEON, KEVIN, SUNWOO, and ERIC—gathered their intentions to continue group activities together and concluded their group activity contract. The team is currently preparing for activities under a new label system. The members are known to have deliberated repeatedly, putting a decision for the fans who have been waiting for team activities as their top priority ahead of discussing individual activities. Accordingly, each member's individual activities will be conducted through separate contracts with companies that can maximize their respective capabilities, while group activities will be pursued unwaveringly through full cooperation.
