Actor Han So-hee is transforming into the CEO of a fashion startup in the film "The Intern".

"The Intern" depicts an office life that transcends generations and ranks, beginning when a 37-year-veteran senior intern named "Kee-ho" (Choi Min-sik) joins the company of "Sun-woo" (Han So-hee), who rapidly emerged as a dark horse in the fashion industry within three years of launch. It is a remake of the Hollywood film of the same name.

In this work, Han So-hee plays "Sun-woo", a young CEO who built the fashion startup Oututu into a dark horse in the fashion industry just three years after its establishment. It is the character played by Anne Hathaway in the original film. She is a top-tier talent equipped with both exceptional sense and bold drive, but she is also a character whose work and life are overloaded from running endlessly toward success.

Before such "Sun-woo" appears the 37-year-veteran senior intern "Kee-ho", and "Sun-woo" builds a friendship transcending generations and ranks with "Kee-ho", who is completely opposite to her in every way, gaining a new perspective on work and life.

Han So-hee shared, "After consecutively presenting genre works, I am looking forward to taking on a grounded role that can deliver realistic empathy for the first time," raising curiosity about her new acting through a character harboring hidden worries behind glamorous success.

Choi Minsik, who worked alongside her, remarked, "She was lucid, cheerful, and cool," hinting at Han So-hee's exceptional passion. Additionally, director Kim Do-young praised her, saying, "With actor Han So-hee's unique energy added, 'Sun-woo' could be born as an even more charming character."

Actor Han So-hee's acting transformation as a workaholic CEO can be seen in the film "The Intern", which opens on Wednesday, September 16.
