Episode 3 depicts the critical moments where Jin Yi-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) and Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-chae) find their lives threatened after getting swept up in a brand-new case.
In the previous episode, which aired yesterday, the ill-fated connection between Jin Yi-soo and Joo Hye-ra—who recently teamed up to solve the serial homemade bomb terror case—was revealed. Having previously crossed paths during their police academy days as an attention-seeking trainee and a demonic instructor, the two officially kicked off their joint investigation as Joo Hye-ra stepped in as the new head of the Gangha Police Station Violent Crime Team 1.
Newly released stills for episode 3 spike the tension by showing the two tightly bound by their arms and legs inside a gloomy, deserted house. Notably, Joo Hye-ra is bleeding from her head as if she was attacked by an intruder, and with a fire breaking out inside the abandoned house where they are trapped, viewers are left on the edge of their seats.
Curiosity is mounting over why this bickering senior-junior duo, stuck back-to-back and unable to move, ended up in this spooky abandoned house, as well as the identity of the intruder who put them in danger and their escape plan amidst the flames.
Episode 3 of "Flex X Cop 2" airs tonight, Friday, at 9:50 PM.
