Released on the 12th, "OK! MADAM: BON VOYAGE" is a comedic action film about Mi-young, a former legendary agent, and her family who embark on a luxury cruise vacation only to get caught up in a cruise kidnapping incident in the middle of the sea. Park Jin-joo is drawing attention for her role as Seon-ah, the representative in charge of the luxury cruise ship "Eastern Venus", adding delightful energy to the story.
Seon-ah, played by Park Jin-joo, is a character with an exceptional sense of responsibility and duty toward the cruise she operates. Even when caught up in unexpected events, she approaches everything with utmost seriousness, and Park Jin-joo enhanced the fun of the film through her signature delicate acting and restrained expressiveness.
In particular, even in tense moments where her life is threatened, Seon-ah maintaining her serious expression and tone without a single trace of hesitation created a stark contrast with the chaotic situation on board, bringing big laughs. This created unique chemistry amid an unexpected entanglement with Seok-hwan, played by Park Sung-woong. By maximizing the character concept of "the only one taking things seriously while everyone else is losing their minds with their lives on the line" through her own cheerful acting, she completed a refreshing comedy.
Park Jin-joo is active across both the screen and the stage. While vividly showcasing Seon-ah's quirky side in the film "OK! MADAM: BON VOYAGE", she is also filling the stage with lovely charms as Anna in the musical "Frozen", showing completely contrasting appeals.
The film "OK! MADAM: BON VOYAGE" is currently playing to rave reviews in theaters nationwide, and the Seoul run of the musical "Frozen" opened on the 13th and is being performed at Charlotte Theater.
