Published on August 27 via the publisher Geulhangari, the new book brings together essays Kim serialized in the film weekly Cine21 and performance reviews she contributed to the independent arts webzine Indian Bob. This marks her first essay collection and her first new book in about four years since her 2023 interview book "Actors and Actors."

The book is divided into two parts. Part 1 contains thoughts that arose while encountering various arts such as films, fine art, and books amidst the daily life of an actor continuing her filming and performances. Part 2 features reviews affectionately chronicling the work of her peers from the perspective of an actor standing on stage.

Kim shared her thoughts on the publication, saying, "This is a tribute to the artists and works of art that raised and awakened me in every element of my life. I would be truly delighted if readers could recall their own mirror through this book and enjoy the joy and comfort of looking at life through that mirror."

Kim, who has maintained an active career spanning both stage and screen—winning the Best Supporting Actress award at the Baeksang Arts Awards and Blue Dragon Series Awards for the Netflix series "Hellbound," and winning the Acting Award in the theater category at the Baeksang Arts Awards for the play "Prima Facie"—is scheduled to meet readers directly through a book talk on September 16.
