Figure skating queen Kim Yuna has directly refuted recent pregnancy rumors, putting an immediate stop to the speculation.
Following Kim's appearance at a beauty brand pop-up store event held at Lotte Department Store's Jamsil branch in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 7th, some online users began making speculative remarks such as, "Her physique looks a bit different than usual" and "Could she be pregnant?"
In response, a representative from her agency clearly stated, "The pregnancy rumors are completely untrue," explaining that "it is simply a matter of the design and material of the outfit making her appear a bit heavier." The representative also emphasized, "There were similar rumors in the past as well, but they were not true then, and they are not true now."
This is not the first time pregnancy rumors have surrounded Kim Yuna. Back in July 2022, when news of her marriage to Ko Woo-rim broke, some raised suspicions that they were marrying in a rush due to a premarital pregnancy. At the time, her agency expressed displeasure, stating that the claims were "nonsense and completely groundless."
Kim Yuna married Forestella member Ko Woo-rim, a popera singer five years her junior whom she met through an ice show congratulatory performance in 2018, in October 2022 after a three-year relationship. Her husband Ko Woo-rim enlisted in November 2023, faithfully completed his service in the military band of the Ministry of National Defense Service Support Group, and was discharged in May 2025, after which the couple has continued their peaceful newlywed life.
