Unanswered Questions (Photo=Getty Images Korea)SBS "Unanswered Questions" is tracking the shocking truth surrounding a 36-week pregnant woman's abortion surgery video and the reality of the hidden "abortion business" behind it.

Airing at 11:10 PM on Saturday, the 12th, the "Murder Ward, 527 - The Covert Abortion Business" episode of SBS "Unanswered Questions" will spotlight the 2024 case of a 36-week pregnant woman's abortion surgery that caused massive social ripples.

Previously, a woman in her 20s surnamed Kwon uploaded a video documenting her abortion surgery at nearly full term, 36 weeks, sparking controversy. The 80-year-old director of the hospital, surnamed Yoon, claimed it was a "natural stillbirth," stating that the fetus had already died inside the womb. However, police investigations revealed circumstances suggesting that the discharged fetus was placed in a black plastic bag, left unattended in a storage room freezer for over two weeks, and then cremated.

Even more shocking was the secret notebook discovered during the police raid on the obstetrics and gynecology clinic. The ledger recorded the names and amounts paid by 527 mothers who underwent surgeries over a two-year period, with 110 of them being late-term pregnancies of 28 weeks or more. The fetuses of all these women were also recorded as "stillbirths."

In this episode, Kwon, the mother at the center of the controversy, will give her first-ever direct interview to state her position on the incident. To uncover the reality of how late-term abortions are carried out in secret, the production team attempted an undercover investigation behind the doors of covert operating rooms.

The boundary between stillbirth and murder, along with the reality of the abortion business where chilling transactions take place, will be revealed on "Unanswered Questions," airing at 11:10 PM on Saturday, the 12th.
